KENHORST — Just weeks before he was killed in a shootout near Hawk Mountain, Berks County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Pagerly found out he was going to be a father.

This and other details released Thursday about the 28-year-old Pagerly gave a more complete picture of the member of the sheriff’s department’s K9 Corps member who was gunned down in a shootout Wednesday night.
