“Her theft knew no bounds,” Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said.

“It blatantly represented the Islamophobia, xenophobia, and bigotry that exists among some [PA House] leaders,” Johnson-Harrell. “It was planned and meant to be insulting to me and my guests and was done in the name of Jesus, which is blasphemy.”

Pennsylvania “Criminal Justice Reform” Crusade Continues

He Helped Torture and Murder a Child, Now PA Dems Want Him Eligible for Parole

Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. could open parole to 1,500+ violent offenders serving life sentences

Collin Anderson – January 9, 2020 5:00 AM

In August 1996, 13-year-old Richezza Williams was found dead in a Pennsylvania cemetery, her burned and beaten body dumped in a cardboard box after she was tortured with household items, including a heated clothes hanger, cleaning chemicals, and a turkey baster.

Corey Maeweather admitted to authorities that he participated in the brutal crime, appearing “void of emotion” in a video as he described the victim’s screams and cries for help. Maeweather said he was not directly involved in the young girl’s death, instead confessing to retrieving the torture devices for two co-conspirators. He pleaded guilty to criminal homicide and kidnapping and was sentenced to life without parole.

More than two decades later, top Democrats are seeking to ease the process for criminals like Maeweather to walk free. Continue reading

Hiring a twice convicted felon to the Board of Pardons “was just common sense” said, PA Lt. Gov. John Fetterman

Brandon J. Flood Secretary of the Board of Pardons readily admits most folks… will be shocked to learn of his past that includes boot camp for juvenile offenders, a physical scuffle with Harrisburg’s then-police chief, and finally felony convictions and two lengthy prison stints for dealing crack cocaine and carrying an unlicensed gun.

White Privilege, Promotion And The One-Drop Rule

Captain Javier Ortiz a Miami Police Officer and past-president Miami FOP Lodge #20 who identified as Hispanic when he applied to the Miami PD but has a “Caucasian complexion” is now eschewing white privilege to self-identify as a black but apparently will continue to self-identify as a male. Ortiz asserts “a one-drop rule”…“that if you have one drop of black in you, you are considered black.”

Meanwhile Sgt. Stanley Jean-Poix, president of the Miami Community Police Benevolent Association which represents black officers, and is not a diverse organization, says No way Bro (figuratively speaking) claiming the officer “lied” and only wants to give up his white privilege and identify as black “to get a promotion.”

“We can confirm that Captain J. Ortiz has been relieved of duty with pay,” city spokesperson Michael Vega wrote in an email to the Miami New Times.

Vega would not divulge why he benched the former chief of the local Fraternal Order of Police Continue reading

American Kids Are OK But Illegal Alien Kids… They’re The Bestest

Why are American citizens nowadays routinely disparaged while foreigners are held up as virtuous by the DC overlords and the national hit & run media? How many politicians on the national level would claim that American children are better than foreign-born children or that [insert any country here] workers are lazy compared to American? Why is it OK for politicians to routinely disparage hard-working law-abiding  Americans?  Obviously they believe that praising foreigners and insulting Americans will further their careers. And that is a problem.

Coal-miner Joe Biden from Scranton, Pennsylvania:

“In many cases, they’re [illegal alien children are] more American than most Americans because they have done well in school.”

And American citizens should also thank illegal aliens as George W. Bush said:

“We [Americans] ought to say thank you and welcome them [illegal aliens].” For doing the “jobs that Americans won’t do.” Continue reading

Radical Left-wing San Fran DA Ends “discriminatory and unsafe [unsafe for whom?]” Cash Bail

“Back in the day, district attorneys sought to throw the book at criminals, but thanks to progressive mega-donors like George Soros, today’s prosecutors look increasingly like San Francisco’s Chesa Boudin.”

San Francisco ends cash bail for all criminal cases

Associated Press January, 24, 2020

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — San Francisco’s top prosecutor announced his office will no longer ask for cash bail as a condition for defendants’ pretrial release, fulfilling one of his key campaign promises.

District Attorney Chesa Boudin, who took office two weeks ago, said Wednesday prosecutors will use a “risk-based system” and weigh whether a defendant might flee or pose a threat to public safety. Continue reading

“Who will tell the victims’ stories on the Redemption tour?”

“Last year, US News and World Report ranked Pennsylvania 32nd among the states on overall quality of education. Yet that education problem is not Gov. Wolf’s highest priority. He’s focused on educating inmates, many of whom have committed heinous crimes, about being released from prison.”

Linda A. Kerns: On Lt. Gov. Fetterman’s Roadmap to Redemption tour, who speaks for the victims?

Cousins Sean Michael Kratz and Cosmo DiNardo are serving life sentences for their involvement in the brutal murders of four young men in bucolic Bucks County in 2017. Who exactly pulled the trigger in the deaths of Dean Finocchiaro, Thomas Meo, Mark Sturgis and Jimi T. Patrick will never be known with certainty — Kratz and DiNardo told conflicting stories. Nevertheless, loved ones of the victims should reasonably expect that life in prison means the two killers will die behind bars.

But this is Pennsylvania, home of criminal justice reform – a movement that tilts in favor of criminals rather than victims. Continue reading

A retired Brooklyn detective told The Post “it was only a matter of time before this would happen” under the sanctuary-city policy. “Maria Fuertes’ blood is on Mayor de Blasio’s hands,” the source added.

“New York City’s sanctuary policies continue to threaten the safety of all residents of the five boroughs as they repeatedly protect criminal aliens who show little regard for the laws of this nation.” Thomas Decker, New York field-office director of enforcement and removal operations for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Reeaz Khan, an illegal immigrant from Guyana, told detectives before he was charged that he found Fuertes lying on the ground and was trying to help when he “fell down, his belt broke, his pants fell down and his penis fell near her vagina.”

Feds blame Bill de Blasio for murder, sex assault of 92-year-old woman

By Craig McCarthy, Larry Celona and Bruce Golding

Federal officials on Tuesday blamed Mayor de Blasio for a fatal sex attack on a 92-year-old Queens woman — saying his “sanctuary city” policy kept the accused killer from being held for deportation last year.

“It was a deadly choice to release a man on an active ICE detainer back onto the streets after his first arrest included assault and weapon charges, and he now faces new charges, including murder,” said Thomas Decker, New York field-office director of enforcement and removal operations for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Not Too Long Ago The Safety Of Americans Took Precedent Over Convenience For Illegal Aliens

“Securing state-issued identification documents is a common-sense national security and law enforcement imperative, which also helps to combat… illegal immigration.” 9/11 Commission Report (2004)

New Jersey Republican Assemblyman Erik Peterson expressed concerns that the bill (allowing illegal aliens to obtain a driver’s license) accommodates people who have broken the law by living in the country undocumented during a State House hearing last week, according to the Times.

“They’ve broken the law to get here,” Peterson said. “So, you’re accommodating people who have broken the law?”

Secure Driver’s Licenses

Preventing terrorists from obtaining state-issued identification documents is critical to securing America against terrorism. As the 9/11 Commission noted, “For terrorists, travel documents are as important as weapons.” Continue reading
