The Rope Heard Around The World

In Other News:  At least 106 people shot, 14 fatally, in Chicago weekend violence

Fifteen FBI special agents to investigate a bogus “hate crime”. You think Chicago ever has problems filling a shift, having enough operational vehicles or an issue with backup shots fired? Wonder if they put fifteen investigators on a double homicide.

Reporter: Can you confirm – was the rope the rope that normally you would pull down the garage door?

Phelps: I am not sure. I have no information on that.
Steve Phelps, NASCAR President

This entire controversy was over absolutely nothing.

Apparently NASCAR wants their heavily promoted story to quietly disappear now.

Oh well; damage done.

Move along…

On Twitter, Wallace said the “the despicable act of racism and hatred leaves me incredibly saddened and serves as a painful reminder of how much further we have to go as a society and how persistent we must be in the fight against racism.”
