On Meet the Press House Democratic Caucus Chair Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) appeared calling President Donald J. Trump a “clear and present danger” on Saturday Jeffries said, “Donald Trump must be removed from office immediately, he should be impeached, convicted and thrown out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and forever banished to the dustbin of history.”
Following Jeffries, Republican Senator Pat Toomey was a guest and said, “I think the best way for our country … is for the president to resign and go away as soon as possible. I acknowledge that may not be likely, but I think that would be best,” the Pennsylvania lawmaker said on NBC News’ “Meet the Press.
