Biden: Border Patrol agents being investigated for horseback tactics ‘will pay’
President Joe Biden isn’t waiting for the investigation into Border Patrol agents seen in photos on horseback pursuing migrants on the southern border, declaring Friday their actions were “wrong” and that they “will pay.”
Before any investigation had been undertaken, top Biden administration officials condemned the federal law enforcement agent. Biden said people were “being strapped” in an “outrageous” way and vowed that “those people will pay.” Mayorkas said he was “horrified” by the images before later admitting that he reacted “without having seen the images” prior to commenting to the media.
