Four people have been arrested in connection with the rape and death of a student Louisiana State University student – who was struck and killed by a ride-share car.
Madison ‘Madi’ Brooks, 19, died in a hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on January 15 and the community has mourned the ‘amazing young woman.’
On Monday night, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office announced that Kaivon Washington, 18, was charged with third-degree rape – alongside a 17-year-old, whose name is being withheld by authorities because of his age.
Casen Carver, 18, and Everett Lee, 28, were also arrested and charged as accomplices to third-degree rape following Brooks’ death.
