I feel like I am in a war zone.
The political fallout over the Louis DeNaples case is like hot, flying shrapnel. Officials are scrambling for cover. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and its former chairman are firing rockets at the state police.
Elected officials who took tens of thousands of dollars from DeNaples are hoping it won’t turn their way.
A cloud of smoke hovers over the battlefield, obfuscating the truth.
But each week another layer gets peeled away. As it happens, the bureaucrats and politicians seem to get more nervous.
